Google Drive Vs Microsoft SkyDrive

What can possibly be better than Google Drive? Believe it or not, our old tormentor Microsoft. A lot of you might not have heard of MSN Sky Drive ( Click Here) and its free Microsoft Office Apps! No, I are not talking about Office 2013 or Office 365.

I left using Internet Explorer ( for Firefox then to Google Crome), MS Office (for Open Office), Hotmail (for Gmail) etc.

I upgraded IE 8 to IE 9 reluctantly with the new machine with Windows original. Then I used IE once in a while (you always need a second or third or fourth browser many times). Then registered on to outlook.com (successor of hotmail). And now MS Live Skydrive. It has been a journey of nearly 20 years.

And don’t forget Dropbox (Click Here). (does anyone has an experience dropbox slows down your PC, or it is just me?)

Skydrive features Word Document, Excel Workbook, Powerpoint Presentation and OneNote Notebook. It has 7GB free space (enough for office documents) and it can be used on Android, Mac, ipad, iPhone and Xbox too.

Give it a test drive, Windows users will like it very much and personally I feel it is better than Google Drive for multiple reasons. Google drive scores on translation, OCR etc. If you don’t use such things and are a basic user, who would like to access their documents over a cloud, then skydrive is a good choice. Hopefully, they work harder on more apps.

For me, I use all 3 of them for extra storage and requirements.
